This information is for active members to apply for registration scholarships & available discounts for the 59th Annual Meeting & 25th Estelle Witherspoon Lifetime Achievement Award Ceremony taking place August 13–15, 2026.
Dear member, thank you for your continued support of the Federation of Southern Cooperatives/Land Assistance Fund. Your membership strengthens our work across the rural South, and we are excited to invite you to this three-day gathering centered around this year's theme, Sustaining the Future: Innovation, Resilience, and Member Engagement.
The Annual Meeting begins in Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday, August 13, with the 25th Estelle Witherspoon Lifetime Achievement Award Ceremony. The celebration continues on Friday and Saturday in Epes, Alabama, at the Federation's Rural Training and Research Center.
Please note that each attendee must register separately to ensure accurate meal planning, workshop participation, and the preparation of pre-printed name badges.
Important Membership Information
Access to member registration benefits and eligibility for lodging and travel scholarships are available only to active Federation members whose membership is current by July 15, 2026.
This requirement applies to Individual Members, Cooperative Members, and Associations.
Membership status will be verified. Scholarship-based registrations and related member benefits are subject to cancellation if membership is not current by July 15, 2026.

Registration, Travel, & Lodging Scholarship Assistance (please read carefully)
To access member registration discounts, please refer to your membership portal, member-only email communications, or contact your state office for member-specific registration information.
Application Deadline: July 20th
Travel and lodging requests are first-come, first-served, and are subject to membership verification and available funding. Members who are found to be ineligible for assistance or whose memberships are not current by July 15th, 2026, will be notified and may be responsible for applicable registration, travel, and lodging costs.
Members seeking transportation, lodging, or scholarship assistance should first complete their Annual Meeting registration and then submit a Travel & Lodging Scholarship Request Form, all by July 20th

Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability is limited. Please note that upon check-in, you will need to present a card for incidentals. Hotel Check-in is at 4 pm
