 Join us in Alabama, August 14-16th. We are planning a grand three-day celebration of our work, memories, and progress in the development of the Federation, as the foremost organization serving Black farmers, landowners, co-op members, and low-income people in rural communities across the Southern Region.

AUGUST 14th

we will be hold the 24th annual Estelle Witherspoon Lifetime Achievement Award Ceremony at the SHERATON in Birmingham, Alabama.

 


AUGUST 15-16th

we will be hold our 58th Annual Meeting at our Historic Rural Training & Research Training Center in Epes, Alabama

We are pleased to announce we have secured a discounted rate of $175 per night

Room rate closes for those who wish to self-pay closes August 5th.

 

The room block dates are in effect August 13th- 15th.

**The nightly parking rate is $18 (parking deck) -$25.50 (valet)

**There is a $60-80 incidental fee/night that each guest is responsible for providing a credit card to cover these mandatory charges. Only certain meals are covered during the event. Attendess are responsible for food ordered outside of the FSC/LAF covered meals.

   On Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Federation’s Rural Training Center, near Epes, Alabama, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM there will be a panel of USDA agency leaders and specialists to present information on the latest developments in USDA programs that support family-sized farmers. There will also be a discussion of plans for improving farm policies, land retention, and conservation practices.
